First off I would like to share that one of my resolutions is going to be doing a better job on the Super Cool Person of the Week! I think this marks the third week without one. With the holidays it has just been a little hectate.
The other day I get home from work and Lori tells me that Sid and Lillie have some resolutions they want to apply in '07. They both want to talk to God more! I'm not making this up. Sid is 6 and Lillie is 3. I was speechless and I think that kids understanding and reasoning is far better than we give them credit for. I talked with both of them about it and they both agreed that this was something they just felt the need for. Wow. I would like to think that this is a result of something I did, but I believe that Sid and Lillie feel the pull already and have a hunger to know God better; even at such an early age.
You want to talk about a great Christmas present, to hear your children say this is just awesome. What are you going to different in '07? I have a list a mile long. I've come a long way in'06, but I want to do so much more next year. I want to go deeper in the word, take more risk for Jesus, and be a better husband and father...just to name a few. Where are you and what steps can you take to make '07 the best year yet in your walk with the Lord?

It is exciting to hear those kinds of things come out of your childrens' mouths and to know that God is speaking to them. I am sure it is because they see evidence of Christ at work in yours and Lori's lives.
