Cry Out to Jesus

Have you ever been in a situation where you knew the only answer was divine intervention? A problem you might be trying to figure out by yourself. A problem you are trying to hide from everybody who you are close to. Maybe its a dating situation, a work problem, a spouse problem, or you name it. Why is it that we try so hard to cover up and not let anyone in?

The one we think we can hide from is the one that knows us best. Jesus knows everything we will ever do and all the things we have done. We can't hide from him, but we try so hard to run from him and handle everything ourselves. You know this recipe don't you. It never seems to work out. I picture Jesus just hanging out in a waiting room with the solution to our problems, but we call every number but His. That is until there are no more numbers to call out. And it is then that we cry out to Jesus to fix our broken lives. And He does it everytime, but what we are left with is the self inflicted guilt. We can't understand how God can forgive and forget. This is a hard thing to comprehend, because we are just not able to grasp this concept. We can forgive a lot easier than we can forget. Praise God that He has no problem here.

I say all this to simply remind everybody that we are all sinners, we all have problems, and we all face similar situations that we need the divine intervention. We also need each other as we try to figure it out. The best thing I have in my corner other than Jesus is a band of brothers that I can call on. I don't know if William Shakespeare was a man of faith, but I love the St. Crispins Day speech.

This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remembered-
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

This really has no spiritual mention, but it is inspiring about the importance of joining the fight together. Not only together with God, but with each other. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers and sisters in Christ. I love that.

Have a Blessed Day!!!
