This Morning

OK let me start this morning by saying that there was a comment posted on Friday to the God Size Task post that everybody needs to go back and read. It was posted by a good friend of mine who runs the office for a plumber I call on. She normally leaves a comment with a C. Her name is Clara and she shared a story that was just awesome. Thanks Clara for sharing and thanks for being a great friend.

Yesterday I went to Newspring (http://www.newspring.cc ) church in Anderson to hear Chelsea Stewart talk about her dad, the late Payne Stewart. It was incredible, but I got stood up. I had invited a friend to join me at the 9:15 service and we were going to meet around 8:30 for breakfast. Well, he was a no call and a no show. I will say I was a little mad and frustrated. But then I got to thinking that maybe this is how God feels. God sent his son to die on the cross for everybody, wrote an awesome book, and sent the Holy Spirit to give us direction. We have all the tools we need and yet people daily stand Him up. The lost, the saved,.....everybody either stands God up or lets him down on a daily basis. And yet in spite of ourselves, He still loves us and never gives up on us. He desperately wants us to have a relationship with him.

I will continue to invite my friend until he comes with me, and I will get over my petty feelings and hopefully show him that I do love him, and that I represent a loving Heavenly Father that created him and loves him way more than I could.

I made it back to Belton 1st to sing in the choir and hear Dale bring a great message. And last night the children led us in a wonderful time of worship through song. It was a great Sunday and I look forward to a great week.

Have a Blessed Day!!!
