Expectations

Good Morning. I had a great weekend and am looking forward to getting back in the grind. I have a lot going on at work and it is going to be a great week. I know this because it is out of my hands. Me and the creator of the Universe talked just a few minutes ago and I went ahead and gave Him the entire week! So I already know that it will be a great one, just pray for me that I will keep my end of the bargain and not mess it up.

Last night the youth were in charge of the Sunday night service and they told how much the fact that the church voted "yes" to build them a new facility meant to them. A lot of our older members got introduced to the Praise band for the first time and it was just a great night. We really do have a great group of kids.

Tonight we start U-8 soccer and I am the coach of Sid's team. I am still; after 2 years of coaching soccer, not very sure of the rules. I have coached U-6 up till now and the only difference I can see is that we now have a goalie. I love the kids and Upward has really opened my eyes to the fact that Every Child Is A Winner. All of them thrive on knowing they did a good job and that they matter. I am pretty good at letting them know.
