Tonight is the Pastors banquet I talked about on Monday. We will be having some fried chicken and Caz's video. It doesn't get much better than that, amen. I talked with Matt Lusk yesterday and he asked me if I would be willing to give a 5 minute testimony tonight on what Upward has meant to me and how it has changed my life. My only problem is keeping it to such a short time. Sometimes I get to going and I can't quit talking about what happened in the spring of '05 up in Greensboro, NC. I also get very emotional when I start talking about what God has done in my life. So y'all pray for me.
What I need y'all to do is pray for a few things.
- That God would be glorified in what we do tonight.
- That we would begin the process of bridging the gap between the church's in our community.
- That the Pastors in attendance tonight would go away changed and inspired to join arms with us and try to do whatever it takes.
- And finally that God will continue to bless this ministry across the globe, it really is making a difference.
Thank you in advance for your prayers and I appreciate you as not only readers, but as my brothers and sisters in Christ.
Have a Blessed Day!!!

What a night! I think all in attendance tonight got a little closer to unifying (sp?) our efforts to reach out beyond our church walls in one accord to reach the unchurched. There were a variety of offers by pastors and the willingness to participate speaks volumes about what prayer and faith can do. Guys, we stepped out of our box in the name of God and faith and the rewards are there for that effort. Thank you to all that participated and put the work into making tonight possible. I am excited about the opportunity given to us by some of the pastors there to come into their church and share the vision of Upward. Great things are on the horizon in our community. We just have to reach out and grasp what God has put into motion for us. Kepp praying. We need volunteers to make the next step happen. Signed, Biscuit Farmer
