WOW!! We had a great time in Atlanta at the Upward Leadership training. The guy who founded Upward; Caz McCaslin, was there and he is a solid speaker. I love to hear him tell his story. My favorite part is when he tells of Johnny Hunt coming to their church and talk to them. He said that Johnny ask a simple question that I want to ask y'all this morning. Why is it that we go to church? Why do we have a youth program? Why do we have Sunday School classes? Why is it as Christians that we do what we do? The simple answer is to REACH THE LOST!! That's it folks, no other answers needed. We are called to do Whatever It Takes to reach people and grow the kingdom.
It always fires me up to here that, because I think a lot of times church's get caught up in the land of people pleasing. I want to see a revival sweep the land and people stand up and say to there friend base, peer group, or you name it.........I've had all I can stand and I can't take it anymore. It only takes one person that is willing to be used by God to make a difference. Look back through scripture and you will see that God always did the unbelievable through someone who had all they could stand.
Where are you this morning? Are you comfortable or are you ready for something different? Are you willing to ask God where He wants you and what does He want you to do? You just may be surprised, God can do great things through those who allow Him to use them.

I am so with you brother. People get so caught up in the check out my new cloths or the social gathering that we forget why we do go to church. Let's get back to the relationship with God and forget about the re"leetch"anships with our friend of the week.
