For those who didn't check out Cynthia's post yesterday, do it and pray hard for her friend. And I can't even begin to tell you how proud I am of Kyle Payne for stepping in and helping out. Kyle thank you for being willing to help out and use your experiences to counsel someone in need.
I have been trying to get more Kingdom Minded as most of the regulars know and I was led to Philippians 2 yesterday. The first few verses of this chapter can be applied to almost anything and if you haven't read this book lately....take a few minutes to read it. It is a short book that really is encouraging. Take a look at verses 1-5 of chapter 2:
1 If you've gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care— 2 then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends. 3 Don't push your way to the front; don't sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. 4 Don't be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand. 5 Think of yourselves the way Christ Jesus thought of himself.

This should be our desire and I think a good lesson for us as a body of believers. When we don't get in the way, Jesus can shine through us, and through us complete His will in our lives. We just have to let Him. Are you daily allowing yourself to be used in a way that will bring glory to Him?
